Order for Tuesday, May 6th, 2014

Most of our locations are pretty full, so if you are not currently getting a share but want one, order now for next time.  We will have openings in Cutler Bay.  New group getting started in Kendall just south west of Zoo Miami for May 20th.  A few openings still available there.  Plus we have a new potential host for Homestead in the Waterstone community.  She would like to start in June, but we need more members.  Email me if interested in more information.  If you are currently picking up a box regularly but have not joined, talk to your host about reserving your spot!  Membership fee is only one time of $20 and the prepay helps give us stability by knowing we can count on you!

 Here's What's Coming Tuesday, May 6th
Substitutions may occur, but this is our final order.  We look forward to seeing you this Tuesday!  Still plenty of meat available so email me your orders for that.  Honey now in and will be available for Tuesday.  Although the coconut oil is not scheduled to arrive until Wednesday, you can place your orders with me now.  I am keeping a list.  :-)  And last, but not least, I am ordering extra cases of kale and lemons to sell individually.  Prices prevent me from including it with our boxes.  If you want some, let your host know.  Green kale this time for $2.50 bunch and lemons 7 for $5.

Our local egg supply has been growing.  Special thanks to Dave and Isabel Schieferly for inviting our community to their farm to see how they are building an organic sustainable farm from the ground up!  We love your eggs!  Dave and Isabel are supplying us in Redlands and Homestead with pastured eggs.  Their chickens are fed all non-GMO, soy free, organic feed in addition to munchies growing on the farm!  These eggs are $6.50 dozen.  Limited supply.

Our standard option for $4.75 dozen is either local pastured conventional eggs or organic free roaming.  Supply for this organic variety was rather tight when the new year rolled in.  (Higher demand for organics this time of year.)  Things seem to be settling down and supply is more steady so we will order the organic free roaming unless unavailable.  Local pastured conventional is our substitute.

Orange Blossom Honey and Organic Expeller Pressed Coconut Oil has been ordered!  I will be pouring honey today, so just in time for a Tuesday delivery!  The coconut oil is also on its way so place orders now.  It is scheduled to arrive by Wednesday.  See prices below.   We may have to coordinate a day to meet in Homestead.  I will need containers, especially for those wishing to purchase a gallon.  We've got 10 gallons on the way!  Let your host know how much you want.

Organic Coconut Flour:  Our family eats Gluten Free so I am always looking for good wholesome foods to supplement.  Tropical Traditions has a ton of recipes online using this healthy, high protein flour.  $10 per bag, 2.2 lb each.  This item will be arriving with the coconut oils.  It looks like they will not arrive until Wednesday, but please place order now.  Supply limited.
