Preliminary Order for April 8th, 2014

Listed below is our preliminary order.  Substitutions may occur.  We look forward to seeing you this Tuesday!

 We may have a few available produce boxes.  Contact me directly if interested.  Still looking for a few more people in the Kendall area to join a new group.  Pass the word to local friends who may want to try it out!

Check out what's coming this week.  Lots of regionally grown items still coming, including green beans and basil this week.  Time to make some pesto!!!  Enjoy snacking on the baby carrots or enjoy them as a side dish steamed and tossed with some honey, butter, and basil with your Easter or Passover dinner.  Yum!  Green peppers are choice so they may not look pretty, but cut them up and freeze them to use as needed.  Lots of berries in the fruit share this week too.

Our local egg supply has been growing.  We have two options right now:  keep same price at $4.75 dozen for local pastured conventional eggs.  We have another source in Redlands for local, pastured, organic eggs (not certified).  Please email me if interested in knowing more about these local sources.  These are $6.50 dozen.  Let host know if you'd be interested in switching over to "organic" pastured for next time.  Limited supply.  Just to clarify, the difference between the two types of eggs is in the supplemented feed.  

I am excited to announce our new payment options: You can now pay online via either Dwolla or PayPal.  Details in email.   I am still working to make technical improvements, but glad to offer you these conveniences.   Request to be added to email list at healthyhabitsproduce@gmail.com.  Sorry, these payment options not available on website at this time.

Meat coming in Fresh Tuesday: ABF Sunday Bacon and Organic Grass fed ground beef.  Limited amounts.  Delivery problem with all chicken this time.  Sorry for inconvenience!    

Meat On Hand: Applegate sausages - all varieties ($6.60 each), beef bones, hot dogs (beef), and organic pork chops ($3.30 each).  Salametti logs ($7.60 each), sliced pepperoni, Canadian Bacon.

Meat for next order:  If I get enough pre-orders I'd like to get boneless/skinless chicken breast, buffalo wings, and the gluten free chicken tenders.  See prices below.  May vary slightly.  Hosts: you may  coordinate case orders for your group. 





Save money with Bulk Orders.  Susan Homyk, one of our Redlands members, has offered to coordinate this.  Don't miss out!   She is looking at ordering whole beef, hog and goat soon.  Contact her directly at shomyk@bellsouth.net or 786-348-9369.  Price is approx $6 per pound.  This is the perfect option if you have a freezer.
