Order for Tuesday, Dec. 7

Local produce is starting to come in!!  This week, and going forward, we will have LOCAL (but non-organic) tomatoes once again available for purchase at all interested locations.  We do not include these in the share as they are not organically grown.  Bread, crackers and dip will also be delivered to your host for pick up this week.

On Dec. 22 we will have the smoked fish dip available, so please place your order with your host this week.  Local, unprocessed honey is $20 per half gallon ($2 of that is a returnable deposit on the glass jug.)  Enjoy the wonderful produce and we'll see you Tuesday (Friday in Kendall)!

Order for Tuesday, Nov. 8

Our local avocado grower was gracious to give us a partial credit because of the overripe avocados last time.  So you'll notice some special things this time and/or an extra item in your list.  (Kendall gets a full refund on the avocados.)  Inventory was spotty in some areas, so 4 of our groups got asparagus this time, but we couldn't get it for the rest.... sorry!   We'll try another time for the other groups!  Asparagus and eggplant were higher priced than our budget usually allows, but the refund money covered them.  Enjoy the yummy veggies!

The Crackerman, Stefan, was in a bicycle accident over the week end, and we'll do our best to get your bread, crackers and dips, but don't count on it.  We had asked for chimichurri as well, but we'll likely have to wait on all that.

Please note that our half shares are $28.  If you and a friend together pick up a full share and split it yourselves, you will each then pay $26.  Some of our groups have quite a few half share requests.  It helps our host (and saves you money) if you can find someone to do the split with you, but if not, then the cost is $28.

Fish dip will be available tomorrow.  If you haven't already, let your host know if you would like some, and we will deliver it in time for pick up.  Local honey ($20/half gallon, includes $2 refundable deposit on glass jug) and organic coconut oil ($40/gallon, or can be divided to smaller quantities) are also available for request.  Eggs must be pre-ordered with your host.

Order for TUESDAY, October 26th

Hello!  Yes, tomorrow is our first Tuesday pick up and we look forward to seeing you all!  Thank you for your patience as we iron out details for the new schedule.  We will not have bread shares for this pick up, so those who have ordered them will have a credit towards next time.  Sorry about that.  With the new schedule, we will now be offering local items to our Doral group, so you will be getting local avocadoes this time!  Yeah!   Everyone will have extra avocados this week that are ripe and ready to eat!  Grab those from the bonus table.

Coral Gables group is meeting with Han Tran for pick up from 5-7 this week.  Please give her a warm welcome for opening her home to us and be sure to get her contact information and address from the web site, posted to the right.    All group members, please bring your blue bags and clean recyclable plastic bags to help your host.  If you are interested in ordering extras for next time, I will list the items available with prices.  Just let your host know tomorrow.
